Fwd: Reminder 2020-21 C&SR Adjustments Extended through 2021-22: PLEASE FORWARD

Good afternoon. Please read the email below from Jay Lester concerning UIL C&SR adjustments.

Dear Music Teachers,

 

This email simply serves as a reminder that UIL has extended the 2020-21 C&SR pandemic-related adjustments through the 2021-2022 school year. The extension of these adjustments were announced on September 13, 2021 under "Music News and Updates" at https://www.uiltexas.org/music and include:

 

• The requirement to enter a varsity group is optional
• Each school may declare the status of each participating group as either varsity, non-varsity, or sub non-varsity
• PML requirements and SR levels have been lowered one conference to include a .5 SR level
• The requirement for choirs to perform at least one selection a cappella is optional
